Obituary of Rosa Burke

Rosa Fields Burke 66, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Scott County, VA to the late Harding and Geneva Calton and has resided in Kingsport for the last 30 years. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank "Emmett" Burke; infant son, Johnny Fields; sisters, Elsie Calton and Lucy Fields; brother, Eugene Calton. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Fields; sons, Greg Fields and wife Mary Alice, Michael Fields, Anthony "Henry" Fields; Scott Fields and wife, Pam; brothers, Truman Calton and wife Stella, Kelly Calton and wife Pat; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of friends. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 pm on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Pastor Todd Jennings officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45pm. Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport is serving the Burke family.
