Charlotte Ann Wyatt, surrounded by her children, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at her residence, after an extended illness.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her father, Elbert Kermit Salyers, sister Sandra (Sue) Miller, nephew, Jason Eric Greene and her loving husband James Kenneth Wyatt.

Surviving are Mother, Kathleen Salyers, daughters, Pam Minton (David), Penny Lloyd, son, Travis Wyatt (Kimberely), sister, Nita Mendenhall (Craig), brother, Randy Salyers (Patty), grandchildren, Casey Lloyd (Mallena), Matthew Wyatt, Emily Wyatt, great grandchild, Kenzleigh Ella Lloyd.

Charlotte was born July 24, 1938 to Elbert Kermit and Kathleen Salyers in Kingsport, TN.  She married James Kenneth Wyatt on August 8, 1958 and remained his constant loving wife until his passing in February 2015. After raising her three children, Pam, Penny and Travis, and mentoring many more, she went on to become an LPN dedicating over 30 years to nursing before retiring at the age of 72. Over the years, other than serving in the roles of wife, mother, grandmother and nurse, Charlotte played many other roles including "The Easter Bunny" making and delivering dozens of Easter baskets at all hours of the night. At Halloween, childhood trick or treaters continued to return as adults with their own children as she prided herself on having the biggest and best treat bags and decorations. For many years neighbors said she was like Lucy from Peanuts, when she would play psychiatrist in her "Lucy Booth" providing counsel and advice to anyone needing just someone to listen to them. Her interests were unlimited and in her later years she consumed her time with rock collecting and ancestry research. Any endeavors Charlotte undertook, she did so with passion as her primary goal in life was to make all she came into contact with to feel special and meaningful, touching them in some way, and it is felt by most everyone who knew her that she indeed accomplish this goal. She will be deeply missed by all .
