Obituary of Kathryn Ann Price

Kathy Price, age 69, of Bulls Gap, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital in Morristown, TN. She greatly enjoyed camping with her family and growing flowers at her home. Kathy was so proud of her grandchildren and was always telling others about how special they were. Most of all Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all who love her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Smith; mother, Ruth Buckner; and parents-in-law, Ray and Frances Price.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Larry “Eddie” Price; daughter, Angela Barnwell and husband, Micah; 2 precious granddaughters, Olivia and Alyssa Barnwell; brother, John Smith, sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Thomas and late husband, Jim, Karen Price, and Kim Cradic and husband, Ken; brother-in-law, Tom Price and wife, Patsy; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A graveside service will be held for Kathy at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Mohawk Cemetery in Mohawk, TN, with Rev. John North officiating. All those wishing to attend are asked to meet there by 1:50 pm. Pallbearers serving the family will be Micah Barnwell, Tom Price, Edwin Barnwell, Brad Price, DJ Price, GT Price and Ryan Price. Honorary pallbearers serving the family will be Ken Cradic, Easton Russell and Tucker Helton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the “Family and Friends” Relay for Life Team, in care of Karen Price, 1516 E. Main St. Apt 3 Rogersville, TN 37857.
