Obituary of Beuna Hedrick Pugh

Kingsport - Beuna Hedrick Pugh, 93, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at The Village at Allendale following a long illness. She was born in Lee Co, VA and had lived in Kingsport for most of her life. Beuna was a graduate of Jonesville High School and Whitney's Business College. She retired from Eastman Kodak following 26 years' service. She was a member of Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Pugh; parents, McKinley and Mae Burchett Hedrick. Beuna is survived by her brother, Clayton Hedrick of Kingsport; half-brother Billie Mac Hedrick, Clarksville, TN; niece, Barbara Hedrick Rasnick and husband Phil of Kingsport; and great nephews, Adam, Ben and Beau Rasnick all of Atlanta, GA. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Mausoleum. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the mausoleum at 10:55 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Village @ Allendale who lovingly cared for and pampered her during her illness.
