Karen was like a sister to me for over thirty years. Karen was my sister-in-Christ! She and I had planned to sit in rocking chairs on my porch staring at the river, talking about our glory days when we grew older. Karen was one of the best witnesses of my life! She Loved me just like a big sister! We Loved each other as much as our parents Loved us! Everything Karen said and did for you was unconditional. We grew up together as young adults as we were obtaining our professional degrees. My entire family knew and Loved Karen! We all considered Karen as our family! She was a great friend to many! Karen always laughed and uplifted others. She did not complain even when she was sick. She was always there for her family and friends. Karen Loved others as much or more than herself. She spent her whole life celebrating others! I will Love and carry my sister, Karen, in my heart forever! The Love and memories of Karen will go wherever I go!
Karen dedicated a song to our friendship, entitled, "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Diana Ross. She always said this to me, "Hey Bil, Ain't No Mountain High Enough!" Most of all, Karen Loved God and our Lord, Jesus Christ, our Savior!
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 NIV
