Obituary of Inez Christine Isley
Kingsport, TN
Inez Christine Isley, 69, of Kingsport, born January 11, 1949 went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Indian Path Medical Center with her family and friends by her side.
Inez loved going to church, going to Goodwill’s, riding around looking for deer, but most of all sitting on her porch swing.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Ramey; father, Raliegh Ramey, brother, David Ramey; grandson, Hunter Isley.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles Isley (of the True Faith Quartet); son, David Isley (Robin); daughters, Darlene Isley, Collene Davis (Tom); grandchildren, Autumn Davis, Landon Davis and Holden Isley; sisters, Maebell Ferguson (Curly), Anna Lee Cathy (Bob), Margie Sloan (Delmer), Bonnie Fonseca (Rick), Martha Beverly (Rob), Linda (and the late David) Robinson; brothers, James Ramey (Bernice); special friends, Virgie Brewer & family and Jenny Smith and family; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Emmanuel Baptist Church 2118 Bloomingdale Rd. Kingsport, TN 37660. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Mike Sage, Bro. Ed McClain, and Bro. Pat Hammond officiating. Music will be provided by the True Faith Quartet and Pastor Robert Fletcher. The family will also receive friends anytime at the residence.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1pm on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Butch Adkins, Grady Lane, Rev. Nathan Salyer, Pastor David Powers, Jim Isley, and Rev. Troy Daily serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Davis, Holden Isley, Pastor Andy Sensabaugh, Delmar Sloan, Bro. Rex McMurray, and all her wonderful nephews. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:15pm to go in procession.
