Obituary of Tami Lynn Salyers

Tami Lynn Salyers, 49, of Blountville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at her residence. Tami lived in Blountville most of her life. She was very involved in the community and was an active member of the Central Heights Elementary PTA. She owned and operated Northeast Tennessee Appraisal for many years. Tami’s greatest accomplishment was her children and the love for her family. She always added a special seasoning to life and lived it to the fullest. Her laugh was contagious and brought joy to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vickie Osborne; maternal grandparents, Kyle and Ida Harr; paternal grandparents, Emmett and Myrtle Osborne.

Survivors include her loving husband of 23 years, Lynn Salyers; son, Logan Salyers; daughter, Avery Salyers; parents, Kyle and Gail Osborne; sister, Kim Amos and husband Ray; brother, Cale Crews; special great-aunt, Ella Lane; beloved pet, Gunner; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and, cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport from 5pm to 7pm. A funeral service will follow in the chapel with Pastor Ray Amos, Jr. officiating.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery with David Bays, Chris Livesay, Tim Musick, Terry Lane, Daniel Henard, David Horne, Tim Harr, and Ken Osborne serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 am.
