Obituary of Donnie Baker

Donnie Baker, 54, of Chuckey went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Donnie was the owner and technician at D&S Automotive. He was a fun and loving husband, a great daddy, and the perfect granddaddy.  

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 30 years, Sandy Baker; daughter, Cora Gillenwater and husband Bobby; son, Mark Baker and wife Summer; very special grandson, Emmett Orrick; parents, Donald Baker, Sr. and Sue Ireson Baker; sister, Lori Caldwell and husband David; his sweet dogs; several special brothers, Danny, Daryl, Robbie, Randall, and Scott; and many beloved family and friends.    

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport. A memorial service will follow with Pastor Jackie Flanary officiating.
