Obituary of Donna Marie Schoverling

Donna Marie Schoverling, 64, of Kingsport passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Donna was born in Glencove, New York on September 25, 1955 to the late Phillip Martone and Elizabeth Sokol. She worked for Walmart for almost 20 years in the deli. Some of Donna’s favorite activities were listening to music and watching TV while enjoying her cup of coffee with her grandkids. Donna enjoyed many things in life such as walking her dogs, her pop collection, and spending time with her family. Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, and friend.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Schoverling.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving sons, David Schoverling, Seth Schoverling and wife Brandy; sweet grandson, Brady Schoverling;  grandsons,  Joseph Vengchiem, Joshua Vengchiem Jacob Vengchiem and wife Chanley; great grandchildren,  Harrison and Scarlett Vengchiem; and special cousin, Rosemarie Lanciki.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Rodney Fields officiating  

The family would like to express a special thank you to the doctors and nurses who have helped Donna throughout her illness.
