Obituary of Frances Louise Lee
II Cor. 5:6-8 - "So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. For we live by faith and not by sight. Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord."
Frances Louise Lee 82, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Holston Valley following a brief illness. She was born in 1937 in Kingsport, TN to the late Ted and Irene Dillow where she lived her entire life. Frances managed many local laundry mats and made many friends in her work. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Elmer Lee; longtime partner and friend, Fred Wells; brothers, Bob “R.T.”, John Robert “Doc”, Henry, and Everette Dillow; nephew, Troy Dillow.
Survivors include her sisters, Margaret Prichard and husband Harvey and Mary Lee Kern; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1pm on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be Harv Prichard, Harvey Prichard Jr., and David King. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50pm.
