Obituary of Jason Harold Wallen

Rogersville – Jason Harold Wallen, 45 of Rogersville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Kingsport and had lived his entire life in Hawkins County.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Ray Wallen and his brother, Harley Wallen.

 

Jason is survived by his mother, Elizabeth “Pud” Pratt Wallen; brother, Lorne Wallen; son, Devin Ray Wallen; special nephew, Harley C. Wallen; niece, Amber Taylor; nephew T. J. Wallen; several aunts, uncles and cousins; good friend and mother of his son, Christy Cook.

 

The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm Friday, December 20, 2019 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill.

 

A funeral service will follow at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ed McLain officiating.

 

Burial will follow in Mt Mitchell Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt Mitchell Cemetery.

 

Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill is serving the Wallen family.
