Obituary of Margaret Shirley Ketron Witt

Margaret Shirley Ketron Witt, 83, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Margaret was born on January 5, 1936 to the late Lloyd Ketron and Velma Hensley Ketron in Hiltons, Virginia. Margaret worked as an Environmental Service Technician at Holston Valley for many years. She was a member of Weber City Church of God. Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

Along with her parents Margaret is preceded in death by brothers, Pruner and J.L. Ketron; infant sibling; and sister, Eva Bowlin.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Robin Blaylock; grandsons, Michael Brewer (Tabatha) and Samuel Brewer; and her loving companions, Sissy and Ginger

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Brother Rex McMurray and Rev. Raymond Hammonds officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Glenwood Community Church Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:50 PM.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Bobby Brewer and Jeanie Brewer for their love and care of Margaret.
