I was so saddened to learn of Lonnie's death. I grew very fond of him over the years when he visited Regional Kidney Care, and knew him to be a very special man. My heartfelt prayers are with Priscilla and the rest of the family, and I look forward to seeing Lonnie again someday in the Kingdom, where there will be no more tears.

So many memories of you and Mamaw. Her big purse with gum. Tiger, Whitey. We picked black berries in the mountain and you always made us laugh. Life got busy and then there was school, work and all the rest. There will never be another Uncle Gene. I always thought you would have been a really good girl Dad. I miss those days but I treasure your memory, now and until my last breath. Goodbye for now, wait for me down the road. It may be a while but I'll see you....
You, Anthony and Mark don't eat too many bites of bologna......

I am so sorry for your family's loss. I always loved going to visit Gene and Sarah when we were young. Sending prayers and hugs to you all! I wish I could attend the service.

Some of my favorite memories come from Gene, he used to take me and Brad down to Kilgores market get six pack of IBW root beers and meat skins and ride us around the old river road and he would turn the headlights off and scare us while he was driving !

I have so many good memories of Uncle Gene. We would always be on the mountain with our daddy (Danny) either working on a car, listening to Gene and daddy playing music and having fun shooting off fireworks, Riding dirt bikes up and down the mountain with our cousins.Gosh too many good memories to list. I love you Uncle Gene and we shall meet again one day. ❤
