Isaiah 41:10, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
Sandra and Ben were a mighty pair. I have a great many fond memories of Ben and Johnny and all of the others in the West Ridge days because Ben spent a lot of time at our house. Ben & John went through basic training together and then they went off to war. Ben fought when he was called and when Sandra was called, she fought. God gives her strength and determination abundantly. Ben was so blessed, and he knew it, to have you for his advocate. Your strength will also carry you in the difficult days ahead. Anyone who knew Ben was affected by his quick wit, humor and most of all his loyalty to his friends. To all those who knew and loved Ben, our hearts break and we mourn the loss of such a man, but we rejoice that we will meet again...God said it and I believe it.....rest in peace my friend. God speed.

Sandra I was so sorry to here that Benny lost his battle with Covid. We all had such good times on West Ridge. The last time I saw him was at my brother Gary's funeral & I was so happy to see you & him. Gary, Benny, & my first husband John (Harry) were such good friends. They even joined the Army together but Gary was not accepted. My condolences to his children & grand children. He fought a long hard battle. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

Ben was a great man. To know him was to love him. He was always so good to me. I will miss him so much. He loved for him, Sandra and me to sit on the porch in the swing and talk. Ben you fought a good fight. You will be greatly missed. But the Good Lord knew you were tired and he didn't let you suffer anymore. May God bless and we will meet again.

My heart cries for Ben, for Sandra, & all who loved him. Sandra, he was blessed with you as his devoted companion who worked above & beyond to get Ben the medical attention he needed, and for your loving support at his side. He was a dear friend in our West Ridge neighborhood & schools. I'll always remember Benny coming by the school to shake hands & thank the teachers when he was leaving for basic training. Loving Prayers.
