Obituary of Dawn Marie Hunt

Dawn Marie Hunt, 52, of Duffield, VA , entered into rest on Friday, December 24, 2021.

She was born on July 18, 1969 in Huntington, IN, Dawn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be dearly missed.

Dawn was preceded in death by her mother, Gale Hunt.

Surviving are her husband, Bill Hunter; daughters, Crystal Romine, Julia Darnell, and Amanda Wallace;  sons, Cody James, Derek Hunter and Austin Hunter; grandchildren, Jayden Berry, Hailey Wallace, Natasha Bledsoe, Ariel Dockery, Payton Berry, Nathanel Dockery, Carson James, Bentlee Hunter, Layla Hunter, Ryder James, Parker Hunter, Roxanna Wallace, Mila Hunter, Malia Berry, and Caden Wallace; father, Duane Hunt; sisters, Teresa Taylor and Aylsia Thornsberry; brothers, Jim Hunt and Shane Hunt; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Dawn’s life will be held from 12 to 4 PM Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Thomas Village Baptist Church, Duffield, VA.

Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home, Weber City, VA is serving the Hunt family.
