Obituary of Paul Wayne Guy

Paul Wayne Guy, 77, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at his home. He was a graduate of Lynn View High School and later served his country in the United States Navy. Paul was a member of Darthula Baptist Church. He retired from Eastman Chemical Company after 34 years of service. Paul enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Elita Guy; sisters, Betty Jo White and Beulah Williams; brothers, Curtis Guy and Johnny Guy.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Guy; son, Mark Guy and wife Leslie; grandchildren, William Jacob Hunter Guy, Olivia Jaycen Guy, and Jackson Brodie Guy; sister, Reba Cradic and husband Gene; brother, Tommy Guy; special nephew, Tim Blizzard; best friend, Jess Elam and wife Adena; along with a host of friends and extended family. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 2pm on Tuesday, January, 4, 2022 at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Larry Beavers and Pastor Layton Bentley officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50pm.
