Obituary of Rob Robinson, Jr.

Nathanial "Rob" Robinson Jr. 71, of Weber City went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Holston Manor Nursing Home. Rob was born in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from Eva L. Thomas High School, he also attended Clark College in Atlanta. He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Rob enjoyed listening to jazz music and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel and Dorothy Mae Robinson; sister, Linda Robinson.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Jane M. Robinson; children, Geralet Wolfe and husband David, Ronald Cope and wife Jonikki, Shawn M. Cope and wife Chalow, and Tracy L. Cope; grandchildren, Marcus Cope, Shawn Cope, Lakeisha Mack, Shaniquah Mack, and Toni Cope; sister, Brenda A. Robinson; beloved dog, Precious; along with a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6pm to 7pm on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Rev. Joseph Comage Officiating.

A military graveside will be conducted at 11am on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Mountain Home National Cemetery with the American Legion Hammond Post #3/265 conducting the honors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 9:50am.
