Obituary of Margaret Martin Taylor

Margaret Martin Taylor, 85, was reunited with her husband in Heaven on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.  Margaret was born on January 5, 1937 in Pineville Kentucky to Frank and Artha Martin.  She married William W. Taylor (Gus) on April 20, 1957.

Margaret worked in the accounting department at Eastman Chemical company before retiring in 1999.  She was an active member of Temple Baptist Church for many years.  Her greatest joy was serving as the kitchen coordinator for the church before hanging up her apron in 2018 and moving to Michigan to live with her daughter.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Artha Martin; and husband.  Left to cherish her memory are her son Ron Taylor (Debbie) and daughter, Sherri Thieme (Paul) and grandchildren, Wayne Taylor (Tonya), Chris Taylor (Ashley) and Alex Thieme,  and many loving family members and friends. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Temple Baptist Church.  A service honoring Margaret’s life will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Brian Schuler officiating.  A graveside service will be held immediately following the funeral at East Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ron Taylor, Wayne Taylor, Chris Taylor, Paul Thieme, Alex Thieme and John Schuler.
