Obituary of Joshua "Josh" David Benton

Joshua “Josh” David Benton, age 41 of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 6, 2023.  Josh was born on May 5, 1982, in Kingsport, TN to David and Betty Benton.  Josh worked as a mechanic and he was a devoted father to his two sons.

Josh’s life revolved around his two sons, Victor and Daniel.  Josh enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on all types of cars.

Josh was preceded in death by his parents.  Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Victor Benton, and Daniel Benton;  one sister, Jennifer Benton; two brothers, Jonathan Benton and his wife Tiffany, and Dustin Clemons; nieces and nephews, Ayana, Givanni, Keean, Dominic, and Parker; and many loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill.  Josh will be laid to rest next to his mother at a private graveside service.
