Obituary of Norman Bell

Norman Bell, age 57, of Surgoinsville, TN, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 26, 2023. He had a passion for building and riding motorcycles and was known for his abilities to do so. In addition, he loved to fish and was an administrator and member of “Catfishin” of Tricities, TN. Norman had a special place in his heart for animals and they also loved him. He was an avid and devoted Trump supporter and fan all the way. Most of all, he was a strong hearted man with the highest of moral values who loved God and lived life according to his terms. He will be forever missed and loved by his family.  

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Left to cherish his memory are his 2 sons, Matt Bell of Schuylerville, NY, and Nicholas Bell (Aaliyah); mother, Mary Mielcarek (Joe); father, Richard Bell (Mary) of Ft. Edward, NY; 2 brothers, Richard Bell (Joan) and Ted Bell (Crystal Bonora) of Port Charlotte, FL; several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill with Rev. Joel Trigg officiating.
