Obituary of Leona Belle Cox

Leona Belle (Church) Cox, 84, of Blountville, TN, went to her Heavenly home on Monday, September 25, 2023 at her residence.

Leona was born in Hancock County, TN on July 25, 1939. She was a member of Orebank Missionary Baptist Church and also attended Immanuel Lutheran Church in Blountville, TN. She was a loving wife, mother, momaw and friend and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Amos Church, Sr. and Ella Mae (Ramey) Church; brother, Robert Amos Church, Jr.

Surviving are her loving and devoted husband of over 50 years, Howard Lee Cox; daughter, Sandra Jones (Aron); son, Travis Cox (Jamie); grandson, Tyler Jones; several cousins; her precious fur baby, Coco.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Holston View Cemetery with Pastor David Smith officiating. Everyone planning to attend are asked to assemble at 12:50 pm at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
