Obituary of Lena Faye Johnson

Lena Faye (Osborne) Johnson, 77, of Mendota, VA, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Scott County, VA on January 22, 1947, a daughter of the late Worley and Florence (McMurray) Osborne. Lena was a loving Wife, Mom and Nannie, she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Clyde Johnson; brother, Charles Thomas Osborne.

Surviving are her son, Dwayne Johnson and wife Lori; daughter, Angela Murray and husband Butch; grandchildren, Sarah Hall and husband Dustin, Haley Johnson and Dustin Murray; great-grandchildren, Aliyah Hall, Anna Murray and Braelyn Murray; sister, Mary Lillian Chambers; brothers, Eugene Osborne and wife Loretta and Jack Osborne and wife Debbie.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Friday, May 10, 2024 at Mendota Baptist Church, 2428 Mendota Rd, Mendota, VA 24270. Services will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Sam Vickers officiating. Music will be provided by For His Glory.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Mendota Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to meet at 10:30 am at the church to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Hobbs, Mack Salyers, Tim Jessee, Dustin Hall, Aaron Fields and Dustin Murray.
