Obituary of Ruby McGee Taylor

Ruby McGee Taylor, 91, passed away (February 10th, 2015) in California, where she had resided since 1955. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.A. and Maggie McGee; three brothers; two sisters and a daughter. Ruby was a loving, caring mother to her three children. She was blessed with grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who cherish the memory of her love and humorous stories of growing up days. A graveside service will be conducted at 1pm Friday (February 20th, 2015) at Scott County Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Stapleton, Pastor of Prospect United Methodist Church presiding. (A private committal will be held at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA at later date due to the inclement weather) Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Carter-Trent/ Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Taylor family.
