Obituary of Laura Castle

Laura Lea (Sissy) Castle - 36, of Kingsport passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, December 3, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. She was a born again Christian who love to attend church. She was preceded in death by her dad, Donald Castle; grandmother, Odell Castle; grandfather, Elbert Thacker; a special aunt, Sylvia Hecktrick; several aunts, uncles and a niece, Chyenne Castle. Survivors include her mother, Leola Castle; a brother Donald Castle; nieces Leighanna Barker & husband Sonnie, Shawna Gillenwater & husband Kevin; a nephew, Bubba Castle; along with several great nieces and great nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 6 pm on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Bays Mountain Baptist Church, 2000 Meadowview Parkway, Kingsport with L.E. Wolfe, officiating. A special thank you goes out to Jessica Stapleton and Jenny Davis at Brookhaven Manor Nursing Home and to the staff at Nova Healthcare for taking such good care of Laura.
