Obituary of Lillie Pearl Carroll

Lillie Pearl Carroll, 91 of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport. Lillie was born in Hawkins County, Tennessee. She moved to Kingsport at the age of 17 and after marrying she lived in the Kingsport / South Virginia area for the rest of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Allen and Jodi Lee Moore Saulsberry; her husband, Russell Allen Carroll; a son, William Lynn Carroll; two brothers, Francis Saulsburry and James Saulsburry and three sisters, Ruth Angell, Ruby Gilbert and Wanda Lawson. Survivors include her son, Wayne Carroll of the home; her brother, Earl Saulsburry of Bean Station; along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 pm on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport with Pastor J.W. Depew, officiating Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the family of Lillie Pearl Carroll.
