Obituary of Larry A. Morton

Larry A. Morton, formerly of Bristol, TN, residing in Mt. Carmel went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at his home with his wife by his side. He was previously the Terminal Manager of Cleveland Express in Kingsport and was currently employed by Flanary and Sons Trucking, Inc. He held strong to his faith in the Lord and was a devoted husband and father. He was preceded in death by his special grandparents, Bert and Ardena Cox; parents, Lee and Evelyn Morton; two brothers, Ronnie Morton and Jeff Morton. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kathy Morton; son, Derick Morton; sister, Lisa Gilmer; along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 2 pm on Friday August 15, 2014 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill. A service will follow at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Curtis Flanary officiating. A graveside service will follow at Eastern Heights Cemetery, Bristol, TN.
