Obituary of Jewell West

Morristown - Jewell Jeanette Cantwell West, 94, of Morristown, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at her home. She was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Howard C. West; her parents, Jim and Emma Cantwell; brothers Charlie, Johnnie, Jeff, Taylor and Kyle Cantwell; sisters Eva Livesay, Hazel Trent, Pearl Purkey, and Ibbie Maxey. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Donna and Don Calfee of Morristown; sister Millie Greene of Morristown; sisters-in-law Lorene Cantwell, Josie West and Juanita West, all of Morristown; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 14 from 12 -2 at Allen Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2, Rev. Major Dalton and Brother Carroll Talley, officiating. Music will be provided by Regina Countess and Mindy Norton. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith Cantwell, Glenn Cantwell, J.D. Cantwell, Rickey Greene, Otis Cantwell and Roger Greene. The family would like to thank Dr. John Short and his staff, the staff at UT Home Care Services and the staff at ALPS Adult Care Services for the wonderful care that she received.
