Obituary of Peggy Lynn Owens

Peggy Lynn Owens, Age 54, of Rogersville, Tennessee passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at her home. Born September 14, 1959 in Welch, West, Virginia, she was the daughter of Roma Payne of Paynesville, West Virginia and the late George Payne. In addition to her father, George Payne, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Kendal Owens, a nephew Shawn Mullins and sister in law Ruby Payne. Survivors in addition to her mother Roma Payne include, son, Kevin Owens and wife Marie of Mt Carmel, Tennessee; two daughters, Kellie Smith and husband Jason of Paynesville, West Virginia and Shellie Reynolds and husband Gregory of Paynesville, West Virginia; grandchildren, Makena Owens, Jacob Smith, Emma Smith; one brother, Louie Payne of Paynesville, West Virginia; two sisters, Betty Vance and husband Arnold of Paynesville, West Virginia; Patty Mullins of Paynesville, West Virginia; companion, Tony Bean of Rogersville, Tennessee; also surviving are several nieces and nephews Funeral services for Peggy Lynn Owens will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014 1 PM at the Bradshaw Mountain Community Church at Paynesville, West Virginia with Herman Day and Bob Blevins officiating with burial to follow in the Tom Sparks Cemetery at Paynesville. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at the church at 6 PM Where a service will be held at 7 PM. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Owens, Jason Smith, Gregory Reynolds, Don Dobbs, Justin Vance, Dakota Dobbs, Shannon Mullins, Gary Payne Jeff Lester. Virginia Funeral Home of Grundy is in charge of arrangements.
