Obituary of Elizabeth Robinette

Kingsport - Elizabeth Robinette, 66, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital after a short illness.
She was born in Kingsport and had lived here all her life. Elizabeth was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and enjoyed being around her friends especially her friends at church.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff in the ICU ward at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital.
Mrs. Robinette was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Lola Mae Wallen Robinette.
Surviving are her daughter, Kelly Christopher and husband, Scott; granddaughters, Addison and Lola Christopher; sister, Mary Lou Clabough and husband, Joe; brothers, Dennis Robinette and Kenneth Robinette; special nephew, David Wagner and wife, Amanda and their children, James, Alex and Mattie.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 - 7:30 pm Monday at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga St., Kingsport.
A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 7:30 pm with Dr. Randy Presnell officiating. Music will be provided by the Lighthouse Quartet.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am Tuesday at Poplar Grove Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis Robinette, Kenneth Robinette, Joe Clabough, David Wagner, Scott Christopher and James Wagner.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 am.
