Obituary of Allen Ray Canter

Allen Ray Canter, Jr. of Church Hill, 48, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tammy (Newberry) Canter of the home; his loving mother, Mary Emma Anderson; mother-in-law, Patricia Newberry; sister-in-law, Kimberly Newberry, all of Kingsport; two nieces, Hannah Arnold and Courtey (Adam)Anzalone; three nephews, Tyler Arnold, Preston Arnold, Christopher Newberry; two great nieces Ryleigh Anzalone, Journie Anzalone; special aunt, Shirley Crawford; along with several cousins and his inseparable friend, "Roscoe". The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Apostolic Lighthouse 145 Shipp Springs Road, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm with Bro. David Crawford, officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sullivan Baptist Church, 4152 Maplewood Street, Kingsport, TN 37660. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Canter family.
