Obituary of Betty Cardwell

Betty Cardwell Valdosta, GA - Betty Cardwell, 87, of Valdosta, GA, formerly of Kingsport, TN., passed away Thursday Feb. 27, 2014 at Lake Haven Nursing Home in Valdosta, GA. She was born May 30, 1926 in Kingsport, TN., to the late Leonard and Hazel Cardwell. She retired from Eastman Kodak. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. She is survived by one brother, Larry Cardwell and wife, Wynette and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 1 pm Saturday March 1, 2014 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 5020 Watauga Street.. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Morelock officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
