Obituary of Donald Louis Cole

Donald Louis Cole Kingsport - Donald Louis Cole, 60, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord early Thursday morning, February 27, 2014 at his residence after a long illness. He was born in Kingsport and had lived here most of his life. Donald served in the United States Air Force. He was a sales rep with Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Co. and attended Good Shepard Baptist Church. Donald was a loving husband, daddy and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Mildred Couch Cole, Sr. and a sister, Phyllis Cole Myers. Surviving are his loving wife, Deborah Martin Cole; son, Kevin Herman Cole; sister, Ida McGhee and husband, David; brothers, Herman Edward Cole, Jr. and wife, Connie, Dale Cole and wife, Janie and George Cole and wife Rhonda and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 150 New Beason Well Rd., Kingsport (Bloomingdale Community) .The American Legion Post #3/265 will conduct a Flag Presentation Ceremony prior to the service. The family will receive friends following the Memorial Service at the church. Memorial donations may be made his wife, Deborah Cole, 6005 Lone Star Rd., Apt. 1, Kingsport, TN 37660 to the family to help with funeral expenses. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the family of Donald Cole.
