Obituary of Irene Willis

Irene Willis, 74, of Weber City, went to be with the Lord (December 27, 2013) She was born and has lived most of her life in Scott County. She attended the Log House Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Laura Willis, five brothers and five sisters. She is survived by two sisters, Aileen Pence, Kannapolis, NC and Elizabeth Bates; four brothers, John Willis, George Willis and wife Margaret, Charles "Jiggs" Willis and wife Flora and Roy "Dodge" Willis and wife Janet, all of Weber City; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 till 7pm Monday December 30, 2013 at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 7pm with Rev. Pat Hammond officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 11am Tuesday December 31, 2013 at Holston View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
