Obituary of Richard Lee Ketron

Richard Lee Ketron, 50, of Kingsport passed away Friday November 22, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Harmon Ketron of Kingsport; parents, Sarah Elizabeth and Carl Lester Ketron of Blountville; sons, Eric Lee Ketron and wife Mandy of Clarksville, TN and Roy Allen Ketron of Blountville; two grandchildren, Ethan Ketron and Kynleigh Ketron both of Clarksville, TN; three brothers, James Christopher Ketron and Wife Felcia of Kingsport, Keith Alan Ketron and wife Patricia of Bristol, TN and Joseph Delaney Ketron and wife Penny of Jonesborough; sister, Patricia Ellen Marshall of Boise, Idaho; along with several nieces and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 7 pm on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. A memorial service will be held at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Paul Blessing officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee, 1020 Jericho Drive, Kingsport, TN 37663. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Ketron family.
