Obituary of Waneta C. Dockter

Waneta C. Dockter, 82 of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Monday morning, October 7, 2013 at her home peacefully in her sleep after a long period of declining health. She was a member of Apostolic Lighthouse and had resided in Kingsport for 22 years. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Gene M. Dockter of the home; daughter, Judith Marie Ogle & husband Don of Philadelphia, TN; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Waneta also has three other daughters and a son. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 145 Shipp Springs Road, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm in the church with Pastor David Peters officiating. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the family of Waneta C. Dockter.
