Obituary of Pauline Lucille McCoy

Pauline Lucille McCoy of Kingsport, went to heaven to meet her Lord Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport. She was born Dec. 27, 1916 in Trenton, Missouri, the first child of Ernest and Fina Moore. She lived most of her life in Mexico, Missouri where she was a faithful member of First Assembly of God and worked as a nurse at Audrain Hospital and the Missouri Military Academy. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Harry W. McCoy, both parents, and sisters Clara Moore and Josephine Mann. She is survived by daughters, Amy Pace of Kingsport, Arla Swanson & husband Ken of Centralia, MO and Rebekah Judd of Jefferson City, MO, and "Special" daughter, Jean Blankenship & husband Elliott of Gray, TN, and son Michael McCoy and wife Gloria of Williamstown, NJ; sister, Ruth Barnett, brothers, Lowell Moore and John Gondringer of Missouri and Paul Moore of California; 26 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 7 pm on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport, TN. Funeral services and burial will be held on August 31 in Mexico, MO. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the McCoy family locally.
