Obituary of Darrell Allen Bishop

Church Hill - Darrell Allen Bishop, 65, of Church Hill, passed away Wednesday evening, August 14, 2013 at Johnson City Medical Center after a long illness. He was born and raised in Kingsport and had lived Church Hill since the mid 1980's. Darrell was a former sales rep for Brooks Equipment, Tennessee Instrumentation and Jefferson Sales. He was of the Baptist faith and a former member of the Gold Wing Club. He was preceded in death by wife, Sandy Bishop; and his parents. Surviving are his close friends, Linda Morrissette, Cliff Sprung, Eric Long and Ron Hubbard. A visitation will be held from 1pm to 3pm Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga St., Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 3pm in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the friends of Darrell A. Bishop.
