Preacher Carter was my first preacher I can remember. He sat at our families table many times having dinner. I loved him so much. He was one of the people that baptized me and showed me God's love. I can't wait to see him again someday.

I worked with Brother Carter at the City of Kingsport for many years, and I will always remember him as a very kind, gentle, sincere, and wise man. His love for the Lord was evident in his every word and action. He was a true gentleman and an unashamed man of God.
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Brother Carter. I know he will be greatly missed by his entire family and his many friends. Although I had not seen him in many years, I still often thought of him fondly, and I look forward to seeing him one day in Heaven. I know he is rejoicing at Jesus' feet this very moment!
