Obituary of Minnie Fink Jones

Kingsport - Minnie Fink Jones, 91, passed away on Monday June 3, 2013 at Holston Manor, Kingsport, TN. Minnie was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County and was a member of Reservoir Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Jones (2007); her parents, Thomas Bruce and Tillie Morelock Fink; six sisters; three brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Freda Jones of Dickerson, MD; two sons, Dennis Jones of Gray, TN and Roger Jones and wife, Dee of Fall Branch, TN; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Alan Buckles officiating. Family and friends who wish to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 am. The family would like to send special thanks to her caregivers at Holston Manor 100-wing and the Amedisys Hospice care employees. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Reservoir Road Baptist Church, 1817 Seaver Road, Kingsport, TN 37660 or Springdale Baptist Church, 1616 Haga Road, Kingsport, TN 37660. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Jones family.
