Obituary of Juanita Faye Wolfe

Juanita Faye Sybert Wolfe, 67 of Gate City, Virginia (Yuma community), went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Indian Path Medical Center. Born in Lee County, Juanita had lived in Gate City for most of her life and was an active member of Cowan's Branch Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Bonnie Fannon Sybert. Juanita is survived by her husband of 47 years, John Wolfe, Jr. of the home; sons, Paul Wolfe and partner Keith Idell of Asheville, NC and Bruce Wolfe and wife Jody of Kingsport; granddaughter, Hanna Wolfe; grandson, Ethan Wolfe.; special sisters-in-law, Carol Nerney and husband, Jack, Doris Ford and husband Ray and Judy Overcash and husband Dan. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Cowan's Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 433 Cowan Gap Tunnel Road, Gate City, VA. Friends may also call anytime at the residence. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Wayne McCarty and Rev. Raymond Conkin officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Holston View Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cowan's Branch Missionary Baptist Church. Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home, Weber City is serving the Wolfe family.
