Obituary of Terry Clinton Jones

Surgoinsville - Terry Clinton Jones, 54 of Surgoinsville (Caney Valley Loop), went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at his residence unexpectedly. Born in Kingsport, Terry had lived in Hawkins County all of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Marjorie Williams Jones. Terry is survived by his sister, Kathy Greene and husband John of Rogersville; brother, William Ralph "Butch" Lee and wife Bridgette of Jonesborough; nieces, Abbey and Sophie Lee. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 1115 Hwy 11W, Church Hill, TN. Friends may also call anytime at the residence of his father on Caney Valley Loop. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Greg Fletcher officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Plum Grove Church Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill is serving the Jones family.
