Obituary of Peggy Ann Crigger

Peggy Ann Feazell Crigger, 76, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord Thursday morning, April 18, 2013 at Church Hill Life Care after a long illness. She was born in Atkins, Virginia and had lived in Kingsport since 1941. Mrs. Crigger retired from the Kingsport Press in the Sewing Department after forty years of service. She was a member of State Line Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Crigger and her parents, Gordon William and Gladys Smith Feazell. Surviving are her son, Gordon Christian and wife, Beverly of Winchester, Virginia; sister, Mary Lou Stump of West Palm Beach, Florida.; niece, Denise Stump of West Palm Beach, Florida; nephew, Michael Stump of West Palm Beach, Florida; a great niece, Samantha Stump of Rincon, Georgia and best friend, Eileen Davis husband, LeRoy of Church Hill, TN. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 pm Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga St., Kingsport. A funeral will be held at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jack Edwards officiating. A Eulogy will be given by her great niece, Samantha Stump. A graveside service will be conducted 2 pm Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Northeast Tennessee Chapter, 207 N. Boone St, Suite 1500, Johnson City, TN 37604. Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown Kingsport is serving the Peggy Crigger Family.
