Buck (Butler) wanted me to let you know he meant to be there but thought it was today. My Mom moved down from MI night before last so things got confusing. Buck used to send Sonee postcards from places we traveled. Sonee seemed to enjoy those. So sorry Buck missed the service. He really wanted to attend. Terry Butler

Jessie I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. Sonee was a good friend of mine even before you were in our family. I have always thought a lot of Sonee and loved spending time listening to him talk about his cars. The last time I saw him I knew he was having health problems but as he said we have to make the most of it and enjoy what time we have left. Love you all and will be praying for you to find the strength to ge thru this time of grief and sadness.

It saddens me to learn that my friend Sonee Hall has passed. Debbie and I extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to his family and to Charlotte.
We got to know Sonee in the early 70's thru his involvement in the Volunteer Corvette Club and have always considered him a friend and someone who always gave unselfishly of himself to others.
Truly a remarkable and unique individual, intelligent, hard working and a walking encyclopedia regarding anything to do with Corvettes.
I will always appreciate the help he gave me at various times and will forever miss him. Part of me has passed with Sonee's passing, but not the good times we shared and the wonderful memories.
Rest in peace Sonee and enjoy yourself crossing the finish line.

Sonee was a fine man, being older, I knew him for his entire life. As the eldest member or Sonee's father's family, I would like to offer my condolences to Sonee's brother Bill, to Sonee's sisters Beth and Liza. Also my condolences to Charlotte Mahan, his friend and companion for 15 years, and his companion and caregiver for the last 7 years. I will not be in attendance at his memorial service, for various reasons, I said my good-byes to Sonee, on Wednesday the day before he passed. Race on, Cousin.

Unfortunately I did not get the opportunity to meet Sonee in person but did have the opportunity to talk with him a few times on the phone. He was always glad to let me take up his time with questions on modifications and rules. My wife and I would like to extend our condolences and prayers to his family and to his family with the association.

Only meeting Mr. Sonee at the SEGA races, it was always a pleasure. I would always sit and listen to him and Sonny Burr talk and pray with one another. Mr. Sonee and his wife always accepted everyone and was always a pleasure to be around. He will be truely missed but as we start this season we know he will be there with us in spirit and cheering us on. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I offer my condolenses to your family. I worked with Sonee for nearly 24 years at Holston and then we worked together for several months in 1999 as contractors recommissioning Area A for BAE. He was a very capable individual and he sure did like his cars. I spoke with him in December and we had a good time reminiscing. He explained his condition to me and told me that he knew he didn't have long, but he was very much ready to go. I am very sorry for your loss. I understand how much it hurts having lost my parents and my only brother. I pray the Lord's comfort for the Hall family.

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Sonee at Holston Defense thirty years ago. He was a very creative and energetic person. More significantly, he treated people with respect and dignity. His quiet demeanor hid his passion for work and his humor. May his family be comforted during this difficult life transition.

Our hearts are breaking with the passing of our dear lifelong friend. We cannot think of a time when Sonee wasn't a part of us. The memories are too numerous to mention. With those memories, Sonee will live on in our lives. Our prayers are with his best friend and sidekick Charlotte, with his girls Amanda and Jessica and their families, with his brother and sisters, and with the host of friends Sonee has left behind.
