Obituary of Judy Carol Fuller

Judy Carol Fuller, 65, entered into the arms of her Father May 3, 2015. She was born July 5, 1949 and lived into her adult life in Gate City, Va. She made her home in Kingsport, Tn for the past 40 years. Judy graduated from Gate City High School with the class of 1968. She worked in retail most of her career, excelling as a salesperson. Judy loved every member of her family, and was devoted to each of them. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church. Judy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jim and Bonnie Fuller. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Bill Fuller (Gina) of Gate City, Va.; her two sisters Lynda Wingate (Tom) of Independence, Va., and Barbara Blevins (Marty) of Lenoir City, Tn. Judy is also survived by her special nephews and nieces, Eric Wingate, Katie Fuller, Bradley Fuller, Emily Fuller, Dr. Lauren Cassell, Dr. Derek Blevins and Alisha Blevins. She leaves behind special cousins and friends, Libby Harris and JoAnn Roberson, along with several other special cousins and many friends. Special friends include (whom she considered an adopted sister) Teresa (Susie) Ford and Jim Smith. Judy is also survived by one uncle, Pat Fuller (Bobbie). The family will receive friends Thursday (May 7th, 2015) 4-6pm at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 6pm with Rev. Jeff DeBoard officiating. A graveside service will immediately follow at Lawson Confederate Cemetery on Nickelsville Highway. Cousins and nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family requests that instead of flowers, contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association 1701 North Beauregard Street Alexandria, VA 22311 Carter-Trent/ Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Fuller family.
