Obituary of JoAnn Hall Stanley

JoAnn Hall Stanley, age 81, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 at her home. She was born January 23, 1933 in Beefhide, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Jeff and Lettie Mae Mullins Hall. JoAnn was a member of the Norwin Alliance Church and enjoyed gardening, and working in the church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles K. Stanley. She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Stanley; son, Gregory of Calhoun, GA; sister, Vonda Sue Evanoff, of Texas; grandson, Chad Stanley; and great-grandson Luke Stanley. In addition to services in Pennsylvania, the family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Hall, officiating. Burial will follow at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Bill Parker, Richard Hunsaker, Joe Desuzman, Jo-Jo Quejava and Rod Boggs. Carter-Trent Funeral Home is serving the Stanley Family locally.
