Obituary of James Clark

James Edward "Coop" Clark Sr. 70, of Kingsport passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at his home. He was retired from JP Stevens Cotton Mill after 39 years of service he also worked at Brock Services for five years. James loved hunting, fishing, and restoring cars. James was preceded in death by his parents George and Garnette Clark. He is survived by his sister Carolyn Clark; brother Howard "Buck" Clark and wife Dorothy; children, James "Jimmy" Clark , Carol Clark, Sonya Smith, Donna Clark, Chad Dean, Michael Clark; grandchildren, Mary Clark and AJ Clark, great-grandchild, Quinn Clark. The Family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home Downtown Kingsport. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm in the chapel with preacher David Lane officiating. A graveside service will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will also receive friends at Jimmy's house following the graveside service. Carter-Trent Funeral Home Downtown Kingsport is serving the Clark family.
