Obituary of Anna Grace Begley

Anna Grace Hickman Begley, 88 of Kingsport went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Holston Manor following a short illness. Mrs. Begley was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County (Kingsport). She was a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Buddy' Begley; a son, Ronald Steve Rowland; a great granddaughter, Adena Christian; parents, Vance and Iva Crawford Hickman;; two sisters, Glenna Booker and Mary Gladys Crawford and a son-in-law, Kyle Christian. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of the 200 wing of Holston Manor. She is survived by her daughter, Georgia Miller & husband John of Kingsport; two sons, Johnny Rowland & wife LaVerne of Kingsport and Fred Rowland of Piney Flats; Kay Christian and several other grandchildren; several great grandchildren; nephew, Donnie Hickman, along with several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 pm Monday, June 16, 2014 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 7 pm with Pastor Robert Fletcher and Rev. Danny Elliott, officiating. Music will be provided by Rick Harris. Graveside services will be at 10 am on Tuesday June 17, 2014 at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens, Blountville, TN. Pallbearers will be Chad Christian, Ben Rowland, Dustin Shanks, Ronnie Rowland, Clint Rowland, Richard Begley, Dustin Gilmer and Matthew Johnson. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:50. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport is serving the family of Anna Grace Begley.
