Obituary of Debbie Vaughn

Debbie Vaughn, 62, of Gate City, passed away (Thursday June 12, 2014) at her home. She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Vaughn; parents, Ralph and Lavelle Brady and brother, Buster Brady She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Errett Vaughn; grandchildren, Amanda Grizzle and husband Tyler and Josh Vaughn and wife Kayla; five great grandchildren, Shaleigh, Hannah, Hunter, Emily and Matthew; one brother, Bobby Brady, Gastonia, NC and sister, Carolyn Serrett, Navarre, FL The family will receive friends from 4 till 6pm Saturday (June 14th, 2014) at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 6pm with Rev. Mark Sexton and Rev. Riley Boy officiating. Music will be provided by the Durham Chapel Quartet. A graveside service will be conducted at 3pm Sunday (June 15th, 2014) at Holston View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Those who plan to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:50pm. Carter-Trent/ Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Vaughn family.
