I have known Katye for many years. Her sister Peggye and I have beem best friends forever. Katye was such a sweet, gentle spirit and an excellent musician. She used her God-given talents to glofy God in every part of her life. She was here with us for such a short time but she made the most of her life. I believe God needed her in Heaven to sing with the angels. I know she is safe in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ free from pain and sorrow. I love and miss you, Katye. Your memory will last forever. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Kayte was like an everlasting breath of fresh air. When Sidney was alive and we happily attended First Baptist Church, she was always involved. I am imagining how beautiful Heaven must be with them and others who have gone on before us. I was blessed with being at the service last evening because it was a celebration and recognition of Katye's service in the Lord's Army. I'm praying for all the family and the Church... Jenny

Dearest King Family,
My heart goes out to you this evening. Your dear Mother was the perfect example of what a true Christian woman is. She raised all her children by our Lords guide book. She represented a true servant to God through all her fruits of the spirit..... She was a role model to her church, and to her family and the community of Church Hill...She is in the presence of the Almighty God our Father. Her time on earth was short compared to many, however look what she accomplished while she was here... Her battles were many and she fought them all with grace and loving kindness, always having time for someone else..... She leaves a legacy behind that will continue to speak volumes now that she is separated from you.... May our Lord walk with you during this time of loss. And all of you will be in my continued prayers....
My Deepest Sympathy
Loree (Roller ) Taylor

Katye was such a blessing to our Family. We had so much fun at Emannuel Baptist Church. Not sure if our Boys called it fun but we made lots of memories. We enjoyed Katye leading our Choir more than any choir we ever sang in. Our hearts are sad that she left us so soon but what a celebration she must be enjoying in Heaven. We love each of you and have been praying for God's Comfort.

Katye, Bud, my husband, as myself, attended an Amway Convention in NC. I'll never forget the night leaving the convention, Katye said (with great enthusiasm), "I could go bear hunting with a switch!" I have known her for almost 50 yrs. & have respected, honored, & loved her with all my heart. She was such a hard working woman - may she now rest in the arms of her Lord, eternally! She will be sorely missed!
