Obituary of Naoma Bowen Dishner

Naoma Bowen Dishner, 92 of Kingsport passed away quietly on April 6, 2014 at the Wexford House. She was born Rosa Naoma Bowen in Duffield, VA. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Smith and Maggie Edwards Bowen; daughter, Lucille Bledsoe; brothers, Dude Bowen and James Bowen. Naoma is survived by her daughter, Sue Hash and husband Johnny of Kingsport; grandsons, Jerry Hash, John Hash, and Mitchell Bledsoe; granddaughters, Diane Kiser and Sharon Ewing; great granddaughter, Lillie Hash; great grandson, Tyler Kiser; niece, Donetta Graham; nephews, Michael and Clarence William Bowen; special friends, David and Melissa Williams. A graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday April 9, 2014 at East Lawn Memorial Park with Dr. Marvin Cameron officiating. Those who wish to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:55 pm. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to extend a special thank you to caregiver Reda Bragg and the Staff of Wexford House and Hospice Care. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Northeast Tennessee Chapter, 207 N. Boone St., Suite 1500, Johnson City, TN 37604.
